Ara completed her Bachelor of Accounting at Queensland University of Technology, and has held senior accounting positions with a number of firms. Having worked in the non-profit and engineering industries, she’s picked up excellent analytical skills which allow her to get to the bottom of her client’s problems and help them understand complex concepts and terminology, especially if they’re coming from a non-finance background.

She’s a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and is currently studying for a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) Program. She’s also fluent in Korean, and loves helping her clients fulfil all aspects of their business and personal financial goals. She gets especially excited when her Sherlock-level sleuthing enables her to minimise or remove tax debts for clients.

She’s always happy to go the extra mile to help her clients, and prides herself on her ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions, or tap into her extensive network to find someone who can. And she’s a firm believer in the basics of genuinely good customer service, such as keeping to her word and returning emails and phone calls in a timely manner.

Outside of work, Ara loves to stay healthy by doing yoga several times a week, and walking every day – but definitely not running! She’s also passionate about fashion and interior design, and loves Asian food, especially fresh sashimi with wasabi.
